There’s a rat in the kitchen, what am I gonna do?
Well not in the kitchen, but in Anca’s car. While we were sharing our small flat in town I stored a box of crockery in Anca’s friend’s garden shed. We took the box to our new house in Glenfield. Luckily I decided to have a look at what was in it before taking in the house.
Everything had been wrapped in paper but now there were glasses and things just sitting in the box while there were bits of shredded paper everywhere. Mice said Anca. I picked out a teapot which was stuffed with paper. I wondered if there was anything inside.
I turned it upside down and gave it a shake, a small head appeared and suddenly a rodent leapt out and raced into the garden at amazing speed. Anca nearly had a heart attack. We then looked down to find six baby rats, very young, still pink with no fur.
So then we had a rat on the loose and the death of six babies on our conscience.
We have put some rat bait around the house.
Anca’s friend thanked us for taking her rat away. Rob and Anca’s pest removal service is open for business.
